For over thirty years Prisons Week has prepared prayer literature to enable the Christian community, through individuals and churches, to pray for the needs of prisoners, their families, victims of crime and the many people who are involved in caring for prisoners. You may find it of interest to look at some of the themes that have been highlighted over the years by viewing the past leaflets included in the resource library.

This year's Prayer Leaflet has been designed by Barbed - a design company based in HM Prison Coldingley and supported by the Howard League for Penal Reform. You will see that there are also many new features to our website including downloadable material specific to this year’s event (including the Prayer Leaflet) and a page of resources for additional inspiration and information.

Also new this year is the online order form (for larger quantities of the prayer leaflet) and the donation facility provided by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) website. Last year we distributed 40000 Prayer Leaflets and the total cost for design, printing, distribution and administration was approximately £8000 and so the cost per leaflet was 20p. We hope you will help us to meet those costs when you order.
